Episode 6 Recap Part 1

Hello world, better late than never right? 😅😅😅

I´m still trying to readapt to this blogging thing, but yeah, I'll be doing it in small steps. 

okay now onto to the recap/review.

Such a powerful scene 😭😭😭

The opening scene of the episode was, Soo Ho falling from a building while contemplating about his life. 

He states about the average lifespan of Koreans, being 82 years old which is about 2.6 billion seconds and how he has cancer so he only has about six months to live. He then starts wondering if when his time comes would the people around him cry or even care, he wondered what had he be doing all this time and he asks himself if he had another chance to relive his life would he make the same choices? to which he responds: " I Wouldn´t Waste My Life Like This."

He also stated that six months equated to sixteen million seconds and then proceeds to say that he was given an extra sixteen million seconds and will burn like fire. so if I´m not mistaken I think it means he´s going to use the remaining time that has, live it to the fullest while, correcting the mistakes that he had made.

NOW ONTO THE REAL OPENING SCENE

Mr. Brazen aka Soo Ho was grumpy at home waiting for Ji-Hyun and Hyeong Hee to arrive. Bok Kyu then tells him that they had finally arrived.  the moment he heard the news,  he happily went out the door. but of course, the Tsundere would never show his true feelings. As soon as he reaches the lobby the poker face its already on.

When questioned about why he was there, Soo Ho becomes defensive saying that he had already been living there, so he´s not following Ji-Hyun if anything she was the one following him since he was there first. ( even though he only had moved the day before, okay Soo Ho I see you 👀👀👀)

Back at their apartment Ji-Hyun talks with Hyeong Hee about how coincidental that they were living next to Soo Ho, Hyeog then says that she talked to the security and they said that Soo Ho indeed just moved the day before, so it would be best if Ji-Hyun reported him to the police.🤣🤣🤣

Ji-Hyun opposes to it, saying that calling the police was too much since they already knew each other, she would just talk to him if see if he could move out.

Suspicious, Hyeong Hee looks at Ji-Hyun and says that she was acting strange, Ji-Hyuns scoffs and pretends that nothing was strange ( my girl is falling in love 😘😘😘).

  At the same time, Bok-Kyu tries to convince Soo Ho to go home, since he had never slept in a tiny apartment, Soo Ho says that since the apartment belonged to him he should live in it, he suggests Bok Kyu live with him, but the latter declines.

The next scene, we have an evil lawyer aka Shin Min  Seok at the company, he is awake by one of the employes, when he is fully awake, she asks him if  he wouldn´t go home, noticing  that he wasn´t wearing his necktie she comments that it had changed is necktie ( She is a very observant person  🤔🤔🤔.)

This scene was actually the prelude, apparently, Shin Min Seok was still dreaming, in his dream he, was witnessing himself killing Kang In-Beom. first he had hit him with a rock on his head, but seeing that Kang In-Beom had survived, Shin Min Seok then follows him into the woods where they fought, Kang In Beom falls from the cliff, but before he does, for survival instincts he grips onto Min Seok necktie, but Min Seok undoes it, letting Kang In Beom fall.

Min Seok turns around to find himself watching everything and smiles ( Ugh, Psycho😬😬😬 )

The real Min Seok finally wakes up,  trembling, panting and even drooling ,which I think shows his guilty conscience. Even though he wears this face of "everything is okay" nothing is okay, he´s already on the fourth victim sheesh.

The scene progresses, showing Ji-Hyun and Soo-Ho each one on their own Apartment. While Ji-Hyun, is lying down on her bed, Soo Ho is feeding his turtles.

Suddenly Soo Ho´s phone rings, thinking that it was hers Ji-Hyun gets up and tries searching for it, only to hear a certain someone answer the phone on the other side.

Noticing that she could hear his conversation, she calls him, asking if he could hear or maybe he was the one talking too loud, as he doesn´t answer she lies down again.

testing she yells out: "Hey You!"

 Not liking her attitude he reprehends her since the way she called him was too formal, he asks her to talk to her in a polite manner. He goes even further questioning her, about since when had she been listening to his phone calls. Surprised, Ji-Hyun defends herself saying that she wasn´t eavesdropping and asked him if the reason why he moved the same apartment complex was thathe knew, it didn´t have a good soundproof. Caught, Soo Ho pretends like he didn't hear the question and decides to remind her that he was there first, so if anything she was the one that followed him.

Seeing that she was talking to the wall ( literally 😹😹😹) she suggests him for them to speak, face to face. he accepts, but being the brazen that he is.he decides to make a video call. she refuses to talk to him on video call so they finally talk outside.

Outside, she tells him that she knows, the reason why he´s living next her is that he´s worried, but he should stop because she is going to live a happy life, so there is no need for him to keep worrying about her. Soo Ho denies, saying that infact he was not worried about her due to the fact he was there for another reason. Confused she asks, but he refused to answer saying he would tell her when he dies. Soo Ho asked her instead to trust him and as always she said; "I Trust You".

Ji-Hyun then adds that, even if he didn´t ask her to trust him, she would because he is a good person,

listening to her reply he just scoffs. 😅😅😅

 The next morning Ji-Hyun is at the living room on her computer, she was posting on forums asking informations about the night of her mother´s death.

Suddenly the the doorbell rings, answering the door, she sees, Soo Ho and his entourage, they had brought her "leftovers" from his restaurant.

like an hurricane, he quiclky leaves, but before leaving he threatens his employs to hurry up, he tells them that he is leaving first but when arrives at the reataurant they better be there before him.😹😹😹.

Thanks to him, Ji-hyun and Hyeong Hee had a lovely breakfast.

Back at the restaurant, Mr brazen happily talks to his staff saying that she should work slowly, and take breaks during work, she should even take  naps.

Happily performing  his "Boss Duties", He brags to Bok-Kyu saying that he is a nice person. ( remember  the previous night? Ji-Hyun told him that he was a good person, So he´s still on the moon. 😅😅😅).

Out of nowhere Eun Chae A appears, as she overheard his conversation ( like always 😒😒😒).

fastfoward ( because i´m not in the mood to explain her trying to cut in the conversation 😒😒😒).

They are at Soo Ho´s offfice, discussing WHY SHE WAS THERE. to wich  Chae A says that she was doing what he told her to, that was to stay away from Shin Min Seok. she also had brought him papers for him to sign, it was a joint ownership, from then on they would be the co-owners of the restaurant.

Before signing the papers Soo Ho asked her if the reason why she was so invested in having the restaurant was because of him, then she should change her mind and not waste her time( ouch, Soo Ho sometimes is really heartless 😶😶😶).

Meanwhile, Ji-Hyun continued searching for help, she receives a call from a reporter who was interested in her story and was willing to help her find the truth.

At the same time, Soo Ho met with his friend who worked in the police department, he received news about Kang In-Beom as a suspect. Soo Ho decides to go to Kang In-Beom agency, there he overhears girls talking about Ji-Hyun´s sister death, so he decides to pay them a sum of money in turn of informations.

While they were doing good deeds, the villains were colluding at a restaurant.

Cheon Soo Chul, Soo Ho´s older brother asked Shin Min Seok, how his investigations were going if he had any dirt on Soo Ho yet. Due to the fact that Soo Ho´s wedding would be announced soon, he would then get a strong foot at the company and maybe take over the company so he, Soo Chul needed to eliminate Soo Ho.

Suddenly someone enters the room, it was junior of Shin Min Seok university, who happened to be an investigator.

Soo Chul asked how his investigation in a truck hit and run was going. Listening, Shin Min Seok who was pouring tea for his junior,(something unacceptable, since he should be the other way around) becomes quieter than usual, lowered his head, not making eye contact with anyone he drinks his tea.

Soo Chul pondered that maybe, Soo Ho was behind Ji-Hyun's mother death, however, he also insinuates that, maybe Shin Min Seok was the one who had killed her. ( geez he´s got a really strong sixth sense 😱😱😱).

Shin Min Seok is currently paranoic, as he hasn´t found Kang In Beom´s body he goes back to the crime scene looking for him, not finding Kang In Beom, he then searches in hospitals.

Meanwhile, Ji-Hyun is still meeting with the reporter, she also finds out that Kang In Beom is a suspect. they decide to go to the police station demanding for answers since she is the family member of the deceased's but they didn´t inform her of anything.  to no avail, they didn´t tell her anything useful.´

Back Home, Soo Ho looks at Kang In Beom´s call list, he notices a very familiar number dun dun dun. Lo and behold, yeah it was Shin Min Seok´s.

Slowly, Soo Ho is gathering the clues 🤗🤗🤗.

The reporter gave Ji-Hyun a lift and took her home, as soon as she arrived home, tired she immediately jumped on her bed to rest.

Listening to her venting, Soo Ho pondered why were things difficult, if maybe something had happened. realizing that he was home, she apologizes saying that she was tired and needed to rest.

While she lies down, he keeps talking by himself. First, he tells her to rest. Soo HO asks her if she enjoyed her breakfast, but the moment he talks and she doesn´t reply, he shouts forcing her to answer him ( This man 😅😅😅).

Fully awake she tells him about her day, of how she met the reporter, and how she would her uncover the truth and then broadcast the documentary.

Her doorbell rings, it was actually Soo Ho, it went in the middle of the night to pick up his plates.

Noticing that her watch was broken, at first he tells her that she should stop being clumsy, however the moment, she tells him, that it actually was a  present from her sister, he reprehends saying that she should have been careful since it was an important gift, thus feeling bad he offers to repair the watch. he forgets about the plates and leaves with the watch.

When leaving her apartment, he is seen by the reporter. she went back to Ji-hyun´s apartment because she had forgotten her cell phone in the reporter´s car.

The reported claimed that she saw Soo Ho leaving Ji-Hyun´s apartment, so she questioned her about their relationship. ( none of your business,  JK 😆😆😆)

Okay onto to the last scene ( I'm going to  be very brief) Eun Chae A was drowning her sorrows by drinking at a bar, all of a sudden a "gentleman" came onto her, as she didn´t appreciate his attention, she decided to leave, but he actually started following, trying to harass her. fed up, she slaps him and he also tried to hit her, fortunately ( however you see it) Shin Min Seok saves her and that´s it.

My thoughts

I think the prelude was a powerful scene due to the fact that Soo Ho  seems to be accepting the idea that, the clock keeps ticking, meaning that his time is arriving, so he´s preparing himself to what is about to come, not saying that he has fully accepted it but he just shows his growth as a human being, because ever since the drama started, it is possible to see his character development in certain aspects. such as him caring about what others would think or fell after his gone, it is not that he is okay with dying, but at least he's trying to improve his image while coping with the disease.

P.S it´s almost midnight, I´m sleepy if there are grammatical errors I´ll correct them tomorrow also I´ll hopefully, start and finish part 2 tomorrow 🤗🤗🤗.
