Episode 6 Recap Part 2

Good morning world, already had my daily marathon of the Michael Jackson, so i´m energized and ready to this recap/review 🙌🙌🙌.

The second Part starts where we had left off, Shin Min Seok had saved Eun Chae A from that "gentleman".

They have a conversation outside, she asks him how he knew she was there, and what was his purpose (honestly I´m so over these two 😒😒😒)

Apparently he went there to give her some papers to sign. Something that  he could obviously give the next day, no instead he went looking for her in the middle of the night.

From their exchanges, it is possible to see that they´re awkward when talking to each other, Chae A who always went after him trying to be friends, tells him, that she that they could become friends to which Min Seok replies: "  Find Yourself A Good Friend And A Good Man Too"

  (Sigh, Poor girl has been rejected left and right).

Anyways, I wanted to to skip so bad, here we have Shin Min Seok rejecting Chae A approach, but then gives her love advices 😒😒😒

She ponders if the reason everything went wrong was because of her (girl it is...)

She the insinuates that because of her Shin Min Seok Had killed people, however he blatantly denies it. Saying that people did die from an accident that´s was it was.

Finally a breath of fresh air, the next scene we have Soo Ho together with Bok-Kyu, they were  in a jeweler´s shop trying to fix Ji-Hyun´s watch.

As Soo Ho asks the jeweler to fix the watch, out of nowhere, Mr Bok-hyu decides to give his opinion which was to  buy a new watch. But seeing, fury in So Ho´s eyes, he retracts his statement and tells the jeweler to fix like it was new 😹😹😹.

Back at the restaurant Soo Ho encounters Chae A, since they had become co-owners of the restaurant she decided to get acquainted with the staff.

The Chef can´t even pretend to be happy 😹😹😹.

Chae A gives a speech, in fact, she threatens the staff, that if they did not fix their sales, then she would close the restaurant forever.Unhappy the staff went back to kitchen talking behind her back, saying that now that she arrived, they could actually see Soo Ho in a new light, after all he wasn´t an awful BOSS as he appeared to be.

 After the meeting with the staff, the reporter who has been investigating the mystery behind Ji-Hyun´s case went to visit him at the restaurant.

The scene cuts and we have Ji-Hyun at home. Looking at old photos of her mother and sister while listening to her mother favorite song ("the end of the world" by Skeeter Davis,  did the producers just choose this song because it was an old English song? Because the lyrics were actually depressing.)

Ji-Hyun reads her sister´s diary and finds an address.

Back at the restaurant, the reporter asked Soo Ho questions, but the latter refused to answer.

The reporter kept asking questions, when she mentions that Soo Ho and Ji-Hyun lived together, it was the final straw. He raises his voice telling her to leave the restaurant,

 As Chae A was present during the "interview" seeing the restless Soo Ho, she decides to jump in and defend him, saying that on the night of Ji-Hyun´s sister death, they were together, even insinuated that they had spent the night together, so it was impossible for Soo Ho to be involved.

When the reporter leaves, Soo Ho asked Chae A if on the night of the murder she had actually gone to his hotel suite. 

However, she doesn´t respond and just leaves, shaking, Soo talks to himself, saying he wants to find out what really happened on the night of the murder.

Meanwhile, Ji-Hyun goes looking for the address that she had found in the diary. She ends up at an abandoned building, suddenly she heard Kang In-Beom´s voice, but couldn´t find him.

She decides to the police station and report, unfortunately they didn´t believe in her.

Back Home she tells Hyeong-hee about her plan of going to do a stake out  at the abandoned building.

Thinks that it was a ridiculous idea, thus she wanted to go together, Ji-Hyun refused, since Hyeong-he had work she should not skip it.

On the other side, Soo Ho  quietly listened to their conversation.

The next morning while Ji-Hyun waited for the Bus, Soo Ho appears and offers a lift.Ji-Hyun then realizes that he had overheard her conversation on the previous night, at first she intended to decline, but was persuaded by Soo Ho to go with him

Finally, setting up their base camp, Soo Ho decides to a have meal, he whines about the fact that he hadn´t had a meal since breakfast.

He invites Ji-Hyun to join, however, she seemed hesitant. She asked him if the reason why she was helping her was due to him pitying her. Soo Ho denies saying, That he was the pitiful one. (UGH it hurts 😭😭😭).

Seeing that he was speaking the truth,  at last, she decides to join him.

Meanwhile, Chae A and Shin Min Seok were at a restaurant having dinner with the president of a Tv Station, who happened to be a long friend of her father. She introduces Shin Min Seok to him and they discussed business.

Back at the abandoned building, Soo Ho was feeling sick, he started trembling, got dizzy and ended up vomiting.

All of a sudden he receives a phone call, it was Bok-Kyu, he informed Soo Ho that there were movements of Kang In Beom in Busan, so he wasn't in Seoul, thus they decided to go home. 

( To be fair Ji-Hyun was worried sick for him, she tried to help, but  kept asking if he was okay,  girl, this is the third time he almost dies in front of you, it's obvious that he is not okay!).

The scene goes back Chae A and Min Seok after their meal, they said goodbye to her father´s friend.

Min Seok asked about her intentions by having him during the dinner, she replied: " friends eat together". 

Then offers him a "present".

 Back home Ji-Hyun waits for Soo How to wake up. Noticing that he was awake, she invited him to her apartment. ( 😚😏🤭😇)

It turned out that she had invited due to the fact that it was Ji-Hyun´s birthday. Since Soo Had been helping her, she believes that Ji-Eun would be grateful. (Are you sure? 🤔🤔🤔)

Soo Ho felt bad, not knowing how to answer, he tried to eat, but couldn´t. He almost started to break down. He tells her that him helping her wasn't because he pitied her, but because he was grateful to her since she had actually saved him, he then adds that it was thanks to her that he knew how to live like a human being 😭😭😭.

He returns her the now fixed watch, saying that from that moment on, her time wouldn´t stop.

 Full of emotions, Soo Ho gave in and goes back home.

The next morning, we have Soo Ho gives an interview with the reporter.

The scene cuts to Ji-Hyun at the police station inquire about Kang In Beom, at last the police officer tells her that, yes, there were movements of someone who attempted to withdraw money from his credit card but unfortunately it wasn´t him.

Ji-Hyun then goes back to the abandoned building, she hears a car approaching when she turns around the scene cuts to Shin Min Seok. He was getting ready to go the work, he remembers Chae A´s gift so he decided to open it.

 DUN DUN DUN, it was his missing necktie stained with Kang In Beom´s blood.

The scene goes back to Ji-Hyun hidden, she tried to see if Kang In Beom was the one on the car only to find out there he indeed he was there, but outside waiting for the person inside the car. (Can you guess?)

Chae A gets out of the car while carrying a suitcase she gives it to Kang In Beom.

Back at the restaurant, Soo Ho continues his interview, he confesses that he was present on the night of Ji-Eun´s death. However, that night he was drunk so he couldn´t remember.

Thus he believed that there could be a possibility of him being the murderer.

When asked if the reason behind his sudden need to do the interview, perhaps, was because of Ji-Hyun. He denies it and says that he will someday die, so before that day arrived. He wanted to live like a human being.

My thoughts

 I commend Soo Hoo, for being so brave, even though he doesn´t know that he is actually innocent. He tries to do the right thing that a culprit would do. Which is turn himself in or even try to make things right.

As for Ji-Hyun I´m pretty sure, finding out that Chae A is in the middle of the mystery. Will make her doubt Soo Ho. That maybe Chae A is doing everything to help him.

As for Chae A, I have no idea, of what to expect with this sudden character development, first, she was too busy masking her love for Soo Ho, now she´s over here trying to put Min Seok on his place. I just can´t wait to see the next episode.

Finally but not least Shin Min Seok, I just think that he reaped what he sowed, he always thinks that has control over everything and everyone, apparently not.
